National University "Yury Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" is a multidisciplinary classical institution of higher education, a modern innovative scientific and educational center of the Poltava region. The current influential European university was founded in 1818.

The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU) is a modern research and higher education institution with more than 50 years long tradition of education in Urbanism and Spatial Planning, now represented by Bc., MSc. and PhD. curricula on Spatial Planning. It continues a legacy of the 260-year-old Mining Academy in Banská Štiavnica, where the foundations of vocational and practical learning were established. STU offers education in technical fields and involves students in research in natural sciences, computer sciences, construction, architecture, materials technologies, chemistry and food technologies.
At international level, STU has closed hundreds of collaboration agreements with foreign universities, faculties and research institutes. Every year almost 500 students are sent abroad on study stays and/or participate in student exchange programmes.
Research teams at the University are involved in international projects and annually deal with about 900 research projects funded through grants and hundreds of research contracts commissioned by businesses.

Discription: An important step in the restoration of destroyed cities and territories is the development of the concept of integrated development of a separate city. The experience of implementing the project "Integrated development of cities in Ukraine" will be presented in the discussion. The development of a new approach in the spatial development of cities, the application of innovative approaches in the existing practice of urban planning, and the process of informal design will allow obtaining a new qualitative level of master plans of Ukrainian cities.
